T-3... as my Shar would say. I have to say I'm rather anxious about getting married. I'm actually looking forward to it. I can hear Joelito's voice: "the feeling will pass..."

The only discomfort I'm experiencing is due to legalities and paperwork and details that may trigger 'bride-zilla-ish' behavior. There's the matter of signatures of my uncle, who will officiate the ceremony, and the witnesses at the ceremony per se. Today we talked to the baker and finalized the cake's specification. It looks awesome, at least in our minds. Some friends of ours are making the wedding favors, and we took some time to go check them out, and helped a little.

So we visited friends and family and made sure everything was going ok. We also took time to savor some of the best food in Barranquitas. We had lunch at 1pm and felt full until 9pm... great meal.

I'm particularly glad because of all the time I've shared with Shar's family and friends. I feel part of their family and enjoy spending time with them. I'm happy with my decision.

It feels so natural to marry my best friend. I know we'll be happy and for a very long time.
